Roads around Lake Kawaguchiko can become icy or snow-covered in winter. If you're visiting between December and March, please make sure your vehicle is fitted with studless winter tires or that you carry tire chains.

The cold plunge, essential to any sauna experience, is just 3 seconds' walk from the tent sauna \xE2\x80\x94 the flow to "totonou" is perfectly set up. Submerging yourself up to the shoulders feels almost like becoming one with Lake Kawaguchiko itself.
We have 4 fully reclining chairs. Experience the ultimate totonou while gazing at Lake Kawaguchiko and feeling the clean breeze that flows down from the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Since this is an outdoor sauna, swimwear is required at all times. We don't offer swimwear rental, so please bring your own.
Hand-held sparklers are allowed in a designated area until 21:00. We'll show you the location at check-in, and a bucket of water is provided for extinguishing them. *Fireworks other than hand-held sparklers are not permitted.
For guests under 18, or of high-school age or younger, we require a signed consent form from a parent or legal guardian.
From Narita or Haneda Airport, it takes about 2–3 hours by train and bus, or by direct highway bus, to Kawaguchiko Station. From the station, it's about a 10-minute drive to the villa. We recommend renting a car if you'd like to explore the surrounding sightseeing spots (an International Driving Permit is required). Taxis can also be arranged — please feel free to ask us.
Every season here has its own charm — cherry blossoms with Mt. Fuji in spring, lush green in summer, colorful foliage in autumn, and clear skies over a snow-capped peak in winter. Early morning tends to offer the clearest views year-round, as clouds often build up later in the day.
Yes \xE2\x80\x94 both are just a short drive away, in the neighboring Oishi area: Yamazaki Shop (Y Shop) Kawaguchiko Oishi, a convenience store at Oishi 1503-2, and Horiuchi Maiji Shoten, a local supermarket at Oishi 294.

No — tipping isn't customary at our property, or at restaurants and hotels across Japan in general. All service charges are already included in the listed price, so no additional payment is needed.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. Japan uses Type A outlets (two flat parallel pins) at 100V. If you're visiting from overseas, please bring a plug adapter.
Since the entire villa is rented out to one group at a time, the indoor hot spring bath is never shared with other guests, so you're welcome to enjoy it regardless of whether you have tattoos.
